His career numbers, both running and passing show that he is extremely inconsistent and has thrown 52 picks to only 72 TD's in his career, has never had a 3,000+ pass yd. season and to boot he ALSO has a problem with ball security(has fumbled 55 times in his career).

Heck we might as well have kept Delhomme, he had four 3,000+ passing yard season's 124 TD to 94 picks and only fumbled three more times than Vick in his career with the Panther's. He actually has a more accurate arm than Vick in comparison. Hell, Delhomme had a problem with fumbling while being sacked(he's been sacked 160 times). But Vick has problem's fumbling while scrambling AND taking sacks(he's been sacked 187 times).

"It is what it is" man, the numbers don't lie. Vick was a hell of a college QB, but one thing he is not, is an awesome NFL QB. He's a mediocre QB at best and that was before he went to prison, and he hasnt done much in Philly to convince me otherwise. His gimmick worked at V. Tech maybe, but it didnt work in Atlanta, it didn't work in Philly and it won't work here.

i think if vick was setup like a real qb and not like a wildcat player i think he would be better then jake right now yes jake has done more then him but i feel as of right now vick is a better qb but you know whos even better matt moore so everyone needs to shut up about this vick stuff we already know jerry isn't for it so its not going to happen

Vick’s dogfighting past is no longer keeping teams with a quarterback need from showing interest. It’s the present and future that are the problem.

As hard as Vick worked to better his post-prison image after last year’s NFL reinstatement, the same improvement wasn’t evident on the field in Philadelphia. This has created a tepid trade market for a player whose best days may be behind him.

I asked a friend who is an NFL scout for his evaluation of Vick in 2009 as a quarterback and trick-play decoy in Philadelphia’s Wildcat sets. Vick finished the season 6-of-13 passing for 86 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed 24 times for 95 yards and two scores out of the shotgun.

The scout watched all 64 snaps that Vick appeared. The results weren’t pretty.

“He can’t throw,” the scout said. “A guy could be open 20 yards downfield and he’ll throw it 25. He never could throw, but he was fast before. It’s not like he’s slow now but he doesn’t stick out like, ‘Wow, this guy is faster than everybody.’”

I then sent a text message to a top NFL personnel director asking whether the lack of trade buzz surrounding Vick stems from the fact he is no longer a special athletic talent. The response: “Right on.”

And just because I believed it was common knowledge that no one wants vick, I didn't back it up with a link. But Mr. Scot did it for me, because he also knows it's common knowledge.

But you said it was just my opinion that no one wants vick. So if I'm wrong, back it up with a link or you are just as guilty as what you claim of me.
