I don't think he will, he's had nothing major, and nothing core wise. I'd be more concerned if it was the same ankle that bothered him last year but so far it's been the other ankle and a toe. With an offseason of conditioning hopefully the ankles will shore up, and a toe is kinda a freaky ding for a lineman.

I do wonder what our O-Line is going to look like next year, I would love to see some consistency in personnel on that part, and continuity.

Yeah, it was just the curse of 2001, can't complain though that Karma has came back around to us in spades.

Vincent missed most of two years with a groin injury on the other side that was the reason for him being available when the Panthers got him. He said that it takes two full years to recover from that type of injury and surgery. That might explain why Hartwig played so bad last year but is having a good season with the Steelers. Having done it before Vincent probably knew he was finished for the year. I hope he is able to play next year.

Good special teams player, can sub in at fullback or running back in a pinch, seems like a no brainer to me.

Goings have never subbed in at FB, his contributions on ST are minor, and if he has to play RB then we've pretty much failed anyway.

What?

Goings is a fullback/3rd down back/emergency tailback/kick returner. They haven't needed him there this year but all the same that's his role, he's performed well in both backfield positions in the past. We may have failed if he's lined up at running back but it's better than the alternative which is nobody.

Hopefully it doesn't come down to it but I and apparently the staff like the insurance he brings as a multiple position backup that plays special teams.
