ESPN: ''Team X'' after McNabb

already has a qb in place and doesn't want to be identified. hmm.

Not that I beleive any of the stuff written, but do you have a link?? I tried to search for an article discuss this but didnt find any.

That being said, if the Panthers did get McNabb I would be all for it. He is definately an upgrade over Matt Moore, maybe even a significant upgrade. This team can still look for a QB of the future.

    • It really is an unfortunate chain of events for him, I mean he was what, weeks away from a new deal
    • Past history says he won't ever play LT again and teams won't have any post surgery film of him to make an evaluation.  It is possible that he can play at the end of '26 season but we may not let him and surely not let him play LT so we would have inside information on the injury and recovery that other teams don't.  It is a fluid interesting situation for sure.
    • I think it all depends on the level of healthy. He's going to need to play some sort of prove it contract before he gets a big LT payday. If he is fully healthy I expect someone will offer him a contract as a tackle, but it won't be the top 5 contact we were expecting to pay if he hadn't gotten hurt.
