Game 74: 76ers vs Bobcats

Tyrus Thomas (ankle) took part in pre-game shootaround on Wednesday, but is listed as a game-time call for the matchup with the Sixers.

Unfortunately this has the look of one of those game-time decisions that actually gets decided shortly before tipoff, so given Thomas' injury status and limited minutes this month, it would probably be wisest to leave him benched in fantasy leagues.

Sixers writer Adam Levitan tweeted that Andre Iguodala's plantar fasciitis could keep him out of a few games.

The Sixers leading scorer said after Tuesday's game that his foot is in bad shape. No official word has come out just yet but it sounds like he's hobbled and with the team out of the playoff face, Iguodala could be forced to rest a bit.

Oh and my favorite play of the night was Gearld's steal, pass to DJ, then the alley back to Wallace. I love the unselfish play of DJ. It is exactly what I would have done in the situation and loved that Augustin looked back to Wallace.

    • Sellers is absolutely one to keep an eye on. Could be the next Cam or could be the next Anthony Richardson. Curious to see how he has progressed come this fall.
    • I think Texas could go 0-12 and he would still go #1 based on his name and traits like you say.  But nusselman and sellers may be actually better qbs.    Man if bryce stinks it up this season its looking like a damn good year to swap out qbs.  Sellers highlights are just fuging jaw dropping
    • I mean, the kid comes from a wealthy family. It's not like he needs the money. He has a ton of potential now we get to see what he can do as a starter. Everyone penciling him in as the #1 overall pick is putting the cart way before the horse. It's 5% because of his talent and what he's showing on the field and 95% because his last name is Manning. And if he is what he's hyped to be the Texas coaching staff needs to be answering some tough questions about why the kid wasn't on the field sooner. Ewers was a good college QB but he's definitely not a "keep a future #1 overall pick waiting" type of college QB. Only getting one season out of a top NFL talent because you chose to keep him buried behind a borderline NFL talent is just coaching negligence. Not starting him as a true freshman? Yeah, I get that. But on year two if the kids is what he's hyped to be you gotta wish Ewers well elsewhere and turn the page.
