parking and/or taxi help

Contemplating taking a taxi from our hotel near the Northlake Mall instead of trying to find parking. I found where to catch a taxi after the game, but is that where it drops you off before the game as well?

Is there a map or list of parking areas? We always park in the same place and are not familiar with the area at all so if that lot is full we will be completely lost! I don't know the street or anything we normally park on, but after we get off 77 we make a right and go behind the Double Tree, then take a left and the lot is on the right.

Really? I don't take taxi's normally and have no idea where Northlake Mall is. I used a fare estimator which came out to $27-31 each way, which would be double the parking fee but may make up for it in convenience.

There's $5 parking within a 3/4 mile of the stadium. It's a fun walk anyway, sometimes when I'm taking the long trek through Pantherville I wish the walk had never ended.

If you don't want to drive, surely there will be Panthers fans at your hotel. Try and carpool and pay their parking our buy them a beer. BGS is right, parking is affordable 5 blocks out in radius. And the walk isn't bad at all...unless we lose.

Oh I don't mind the walk at all, the problem is we will have my sister-in-law with us and she cannot do much walking so I am trying to find alternatives so she will not have to walk far. I may just try to use the disabilites drop-off then go find parking. Thanks for the suggestions.

come down 77 and get on the train. Free parking, 3 bucks round trip and its about a 3 block walk to the tailgate from 3rd street station

We may very well end up taking the Lynx, I didn't know Charlotte had one We always drive and either stay uptown or park in the same lot for the last almost 10 years. This is the first time we are bringing someone with "special needs" so are out of our element, appreciate all of the help. I have been trying to google all of this but haven't had much luck.

Actually yellow cab runs dontown from Cornholius. Last time I took one it was $60 each way, that was about 3 years ago. Most Charlotte cabs run north for the same fare.

Does the hotel not have a shuttle van? I'd be surprised if they wern't running a shuttle gameday.

Lynx doesn't go all the way to the Northlake Mall area yet - goes from Pineville to Downtown only.
