I posted this on another, non-team-specific nfl forum last night my time. Overnight, a mod there was kind enough to publish it on the front page of the sight and on bleacher report. I got 7000 views in 11 hours! I'm just so happy! Either way, I spent a lot of time researching for this mock so I hope you guys enjoy it. :cheers2:

I would have to say one of the best ones I have ever read. If only the media actually put the research into a team and fanbase like that they might actually realize that there is next to no chance of us selecting a TE in the 1st 4 rounds. Or that our QB situation is not as dire as they make it out to be (Moore is untested sure but he has looked as good if not better then Romo did when they were polishing his pewter after only a partial season).

The Cheifs have no problem reaching for positional value.. Scott Pioli has said in year's past that the safety position simply does not warrant a top 10 selection. He will do something similar to last year where he selected Tyson Jackson about 10 spots higher than he was projected to go. He will take Brian Bulaga from Iowa at #5 over all.

I'd agree with pretty much every pick other than the Jags taking Thomas just because they drafted Reggie Nelson in the first round and Michael Griffin in the past few drafts. I see them going DL or LB before DB again.

I also don't see the Ravens taking Golden Tate when they just signed Anquan Boldin. I feel like that would be a little bit of overkill. If they were really looking for another pass catcher I could see them taking Gresham and having him take over for Todd Heap. They definitey need more weapons but I'd say that DB and TE are more of a need for them than WR right now.

I'd also be pretty ticked if the Falcons took Dez Bryant. Roddy White and Bryant would be disgusting with Matt Ryan.

Griffin was taken by Tennessee. I remember that day very well -.-

With the ravens, they signed Boldin but they still don't really have anyone behind them. Derrick Mason is in his mid 30's and Clayton is just rubbish. They still have a need at wideout.

With the Chiefs stuff, I'll get onto that with version 2 :P

    • yeah, Steve was basically like on any actual topic that approached his flaws/problems.....89 went with the long winded, try to sound like a wise man strategy of just basically just pleading the 5th (and sprinkling in the idea that others could of been wrong or wrong too).   also, in terms of the assaults and stuff like that....it feels like old 89, I feel has sort of forgotten his well-documented confessions and apologies about that aspect and era of his and was trying to re-write his story/image in hindsight.   And in all honesty, it seemed like a PR move on the twitter/cheating stuff also attempting to play himself as not the bad guy some think with the intentional vague suggestions. and the Pivot and all these athlete moves to basically take the reigns and power from traditional outlets exposes they have just as bad as flaws if not more often than the traditional media folks.  I mean I do like the free form long talk when dudes are telling stories but all this stuff is largely flawed and controlled PR often.
    • Sadly, I agree and I’m a huge Melo fan. Might be time to ship him out. Don’t want to make the same mistakes the Pels did. They should’ve gotten rid of Zion two years ago.
    • I forgot he was on the team and I'm pulling for him, but the statistics are not in his favor.  Some guys can recover from injuries and others cannot and let's hope Brooks is the former.  He was a beast in high school and college.
