On 1st and 10 on the game:

SAS said it will be a beat down 42-10

Skip said 38- 17

I'm guessing they think we're going to win? But it might help to note that somehow in ur message...

I sure hope we win. I'm not quite as certain as Stephen A or Skip...

What part of "Cardiac Cats" do these people not understand?

Exactly. If this game isn't decided by 1 point or less then I'll be shocked. I'm totally expecting the first quadruple overtime in playoff history, with the winner to be determined by a coin toss at the end due to the players on both sides throwing up and passing out on the sidelines due to exhaustion.

We always gameplan these things to fug with my nervous system.

Better? :ciappa:

haha, guess we were in each others head.

I love not having a job.

My take on it is this game won't be as good as the Giants/Eagles game (which'll be extremely close). We'll either win by at least two scores or they'll win by at least two scores.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
