Can't read, or won't read?

Harris' agent said that Hurney should not be held accountable for a decision that Richardson made. The decision to trade Harris was not Fox or Hurney's idea.

Ok, I'm gonna vote for can't read, except in this case I'm going to say it's you who can't. NO where in that article did it say that Richardson released Harris. It said that Hurney and Fox were operating under a mandate from Richardson, in this case that mandate is their budget. It was Hurney's decision to release Harris and it's based on his idea of what players will field the best team while maintaining the budget requirements set by Richardson. While it can be said that Richardson was responsible for tying their hands financially and thus forcing them to make hard decisions, i.e. release Harris. It cannot be inferred that he did, in fact, release Harris himself. This is false.
