Derrick Brown and Alexis Ajinca Update!!!

Pretty Good Articles

It is nice to see Derrick Brown putting in the work, and I think he could be the steal of the 2009 NBA Draft in years to come.

“This is what I get paid for,’’ Brown said Sunday following the Bobcats’ last practice before summer league. “It’s second nature to come in and do my work. I don’t need anybody telling me to come in to the gym. This is the best job in the world.’’

As far as Ajinca, he should get some A.D.D pills because it seems like he is having problems staying focused.

Alexis Ajinca makes a sleek move in the post and scores at ease. Minutes later, Ajinca is berated for not getting back on defense.

Ajinca's vagina is always hurting

"It feels weird because it's in my head. I'm still scared to get it hit," Ajinca said of his thumb. "It feels OK. I don't feel any difference when I'm shooting or trying to dunk the ball. I think it's going to be OK for the season."

Ajinca looks so much beefier than in years past. Looks like the weight lifting program and his physical matruity seem to be kicking in. He could be a very good player if he continues to develop in the year or two.

Yea, he did look noticeable bigger in the game.

brown is a keeper, but he was older coming out than Ajinca. I think Ajinca, can become a good player..hes still very young mentally.

He is a complete pushover. He doesn't play tough and he doesn't play consistent. He is a very long-term project that, unfortunately, the Bobs invested a 1st round pick in.

    • I think the qualification has changed over time though. A deep ball play used to take 4 to 6 seconds for the receiver to get to that spot on the field. Now a receiver can be there in 2.5. That's less time than most QBs have to set and throw. In my mind a deep route takes time to develop. A crossing route and a deep route can't take the same amount of time at full speed. You can have 4 deep balls on the same drive,  almost 5 if you do 5 20 yard throws goal line to goal line. That doesn't even make sense when you say it out loud.
    • The sad part is it looks manicured enough that he's aware it's running away from him.  Also, I just wanted to give you some fun loving grief on King Haynes today having a chance to throw a game winning TD, and was wildly errant, and ultimately picked off to end the game.  So happy I won't have to hear anything else about The Golden Calf of Bristol lite ever again watching college football.
    • I just think Panthers believe in Bryce far more than the fans do and he is most likely going to be the QB at least the next two seasons. the real shot of us moving from Bryce is not getting an extension, till then they are going to give him every chance to succeed and I just want to win.
