The Charlotte Bobcats are coming off a win against the Utah Jazz yesterday in a bi-polar game. The Cats looked great at times, yet in the last 2 Minutes about blew a 12 point lead. Today, Tuesday, July 6th at 3:00 PM EST, the Bobcats face off against the young Ok City Thunder. Oklahoma City beat Boston yesterday, and there team is young and very talented.

KEY PLAYERS FOR CHARLOTTE:

Gerald Henderson: Lets see if he can play the way he did yesterday and keep improving

Derrick Brown: Star of the show yesterday, but could clean up on little things ie. that missed dunk in the third.

Alexis Ajinca: Showing more improvement every day.

KEY PLAYERS FOR OKLAHOMA CITY:

James Harden: Probably the best player in Orlando this week, should breeze through Summer League action

Serge Ibaka: Played great in the Laker series in the playoffs

Eric Maynor: Should show more and more improvement.

The game will be televised on NBA TV for those who own it. If you don't own it, I will try to post quarter updates, and any key plays. Enjoy the game :lurk5:

The Key Players to watch for the Bobcats are Collins and Pargo.

From what I saw yesterday, Collins is 10x better than Pargo. He plays more under control, runs an offense a lot better, and shoots better.

He can get into shape, so that's not even a factor.

Pargo right now has better NBA vision because he has been in the NBA longer which in turn resulted in a better game for him. Collins however, does not turn the ball over. He protects the ball very, very well.

Pargo sucks. Can't run a team to save his life. That's clear from Game 1 and the first 5 minutes of this game.

Collins is a much better player, and it showed yesterday. Collins has better court awareness, composure, is a better passer, and the team plays better with him on the court. He appears to also have a more reliable jumper.

The only thing he lacks is the fitness. Again, that's something that can easily be overcome if he wants a paycheck.

Pargo is a lifelong back up. Collins can be a starter in this league.

Pargo far from sucks he gets everyone involved, and if Collins is so good then why hasn't he seen the court yet? Collins is a scoring point guard and a very good one at that. If the Bobcats aren't able to grab a free agent point guard then I see Collins and Pargo making the team.

However, Clemente is looking pretty bad.

Pargo doesn't get "EVERYONE INVOLVED." He's erratic and out of control. The offense does not run well with him out there.

Collins hadn't seen the court yet because they are trying different combinations during the summer league, idiot.

The guys that are LOWER ON the list need playing time.

Collins played almost all day yesterday, and the team was better with him on the court than they were with Pargo on the it.

Yeah your a dumb f*ck. Collins played 14 minutes while Pargo played 20 mintues.

As far as Pargo not getting everyone involved, well he led the team in assists yesterday, while also racking up 7 points.

And the lower guys don't get playing time unless Derrick Brown, Gerald Henderson, Alexis Ajinca, Pape Sow, Jeremy Pargo, or Shawne Williams. They all played more than Collins and I don't think they are on the lower list. Maybe you should stop talking

It is pointless arguing with you because you no nothing and I mean absolutely nothing about basketball.

IDIOT

    • TBH, these are the kind of players that get weeded out of professional sports pretty quickly. Also, CMC is not that guy. There is zero indication that he isn't competitive.
    • I like the free agency. It actually helps basically all schools across the board. Pretty much only ancient HC's and/or HC's that haven't been able to adjust have been complaining about the free agency. Your fortunes can be made or broken every offseason. It's not like before where a bad recruiting class or two meant multiyear purgatory.  I will never understand all the bellyaching about the NIL. If you want to talk about what ruined college athletics, it has been naked greed. Conference expansions for TV revenue, ever skyrocketing AD and facilities costs and now the attempts to permanently ruin the postseasons(football and basketball).  All the kids did was get a very well deserved piece of a very, very, VERY broken pie.
    • Nobody is saying they don't count against the cap, because yes, they technically do count against the cap as it's money the team is paying and it needs to be accounted for. But what you're not grasping it seems is that if a player gets $10 million guaranteed in their contract, whether they get literally $0 as a signing bonus or $8 million as a signing bonus, it doesn't change the overall cap hit of the contract, because cap hits are about the guaranteed money, not how much is paid up front. The only thing that how much is paid up front changes, is how the cap hit can be spread out amongst the years. So yes, technically there could end up being a slightly bigger cap hit in year 3 and 4 due to a bigger signing bonus, but if that is the case, it also means there will be a lesser cap hit in years 1 and 2 than there would have been with a smaller bonus.  But over the length of the contract, the size of the signing bonus has literally zero affect on the overall cap hit of the contract, because THAT part of it is 100% about the guaranteed money and nothing else.
