I just fed my daughter....

Seven years ago I was dating a young lady who had a 4 yo daughter. She was being a brat, the Daughter, not the Mom. And my GF said, "Spank her."

I said, "What?" She replied, "Spank her, she's being a brat."

I said, "You aren't serious are you?" She said, "Yes, give her a pop in the butt."

I told her, "I never spanked my own Daughter, let alone yours. And besides, when she looks up to me with those BIG BROWN DOE eyes! She could ask me to buy her a car and I would say, What make and model!"

Her little girl would look up at me with those Doe eyes, reach out and take my hand and say, "I love you." As tough of guy as I was, that was the best thing in all the world!

Love those little girls cause they sure need their daddy's love.

They need to hear how precious they are and be made to believe they deserve all the good things. They sometimes forget that they should be cherished when they get older and they need their daddy to show them how much they are worth.

Good things to hear from dads who love their little babies, boys and girls. Those little ones look up to you with all the trust and love.

I love the belly laugh of a baby who's discovered their own voice for the first time...it's awesome.

You should never hesitate to whoop a bad childs ass... Spare the rod, spoil the child, destroy the nation.

She could be the anti-christ, you need to beat the demons out of her.

    • Sounds like the pressure of all the fans wanting him fired might finally be getting to him... That, or Rico said "trade me now if you aren't going to make me the lead back"
    • I have been paying so little attention after losses (and wins, actually, because I'm mildly excited by them), that I missed Dave's seeming change of heart on Rico and Chuba.  Just when I criticized him for not being able to make the tough decisions and wanting to be Mr. Politically Correct nice guy, when asked about the timeshare between Chuba and Rico, he says:   "We cannot ignore the fact that Rico has been exceptional in a couple of games and in the opportunities he's had over the last two weeks. He's made some excellent plays, love the tempo and violence that he's running with. And these are all things we're talking about and working through this week as we look back on these last four games and really taking a snapshot of what's been successful for us. These are conversations that we do definitely have to have."   On basically whether or not it was his job to keep the RBs "happy," DC replied:   "Yeah, that's not the goal," he replied. "The goal is to make sure we put the right guys out there. That's my job. So I really do have to look at that and evaluate it and make the best decision for the Panthers, collectively. And for me, I have to make sure I keep it about the football."   So now all of a sudden, he knows his job. Well, some of you might say that he always knew his job. My response is that he surely wasn't putting it into action. You watch what people do, not what they say. And that even applies here. We'll actually see if his actions match the words of his newfound epiphany pertaining to our two top RBs., something that we saw a couple of weeks ago (or at least a week ago).    https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/10/27/panthers-week-8-dave-canales-rico-dowdle-chuba-hubbard/86923984007/
    • Just about everyone I have ever seen that was a first time HC, mostly successful coordinators, said there was stuff they couldn’t have imagined.  Canales only had one season as a coordinator. A steep learning curve should be expected. Help in the form of a mentor would have been a good idea.
