Example: They were the unsung heroes of the American Revolution.

An unsung hero would indicate the person has already behaved or acted in the capacity of a hero, but has yet to receive any recognition for said behavior or actions.

So far, none of these guys has done a friggin' thing in the NFL beyond play in some preseason games...

Since I've been an App fan for the last 30 years I guess that makes me an Edwards fan boy. I was a Dexter Coakly, Dino Hacket and John Settle fan boy too. Being a small college fan I haven't read much of anything Gantt has written in the past. Boy am I learning.

That piece made me cringe. It was terrible. It was awful for it's title if nothing else. For what it's worth in the 4 years I've watched Edwards play football, other than putting up some outlandish stats I've never seen him do or say anything to draw attention to himself.

For what it's worth if he read that story I'm sure he hated it too.

You know I almost wish the Panthers would trade him, cut him even. He'll never get a fair shot with the majority of the fans here and that's too bad. If he isn't perfect he'll get booed out of the stadium if you guys are any indication LOL
