Whats with all the outrage?

Good lord people.

Since the first day of camp I and others have been telling you its not going to be a winning year. The Panthers are not a playoff team. Its a rebuilding and there will be growing pains. You knew this, at least, you were told this.

Reach down, push your bollocks down out of your abdominal cavity and back into your sack.

You are making the rest of us look bad.

Love,

Zod

But before it was......

This Sunday prepare to witness the systematic dismantling of your entire team by the youngest team in the league. Sure, some of our players haven't gotten pubes yet (Sorry Todd), but never the less, it doesn't take much to put up 200 rushing yards rushing against the human sieve that is the Giants defensive line.

What are you going to do New York? What are you going to do when the real Steve Smith can't get open due to inactivity while Dwayne Jarrett forgets to wear his cleats? What will you do when the Panthers offensive line does their best impersonation of a subway turnstile? Its coming your way New York, and there is nothing you can do about it.

Seems a little hypocritical, no?

If the Giants finish at least 3rd in the divison, it'll be an amazing accomplishment.

We imploded on the field today, and your team still couldn't get in control of the game.

But hey, at least you got a new stadium, right?

Whatever you say brah....... I'm enjoying the Sunday night games...enjoying a victory......

What are you doing?

You guys talk smack all week and then can't eat crow when it comes down to it.

I usually am not a big smack talker, but you guys sure do like to light the fire.

I wouldn't feel too good about this victory if I were you, we gift wrapped it for you.

If the Giants played as poorly against a team who had their act together it would have been a blow out.

Well you're a Panther fan so of course you wouldn't....but I do feel good about it......

Hakeem Nicks was a redzone magnet like we knew he would be with 3 TDs, Bradshaw ripped you guys for a few big runs and a TD, Manningham made your DBs look foolish with his elusiveness, 4 picks, sacks all over the place........

Call it a giftwrap, I call it 1-0.....and that sure beats 0-1

You're in complete denial if you don't think we handed this game to you.

The guys who were calling for a repeat of 41-9 do need to step up and eat crow. But I never did this, and I didn't think it'd be an easy game.

Nevertheless, your team isn't some juggernaut that is cleaning its plate of the season's first victim. You have lots of problems to address before you're ready to make anything close to a playoff push, just like us.

And Jesus, I thought we had bad receivers.

Wow by one game you're judging our receiving core? How about OUR Steve Smith who led the NFC in receptions last season? Or Hakeem Nicks with only starting 6 games got 47 receptions, 790 yards and 6 TDs?

I am not saying we are a juggernaut. You guys love to make things up. But we made some great plays today to be happy about, and just because your team did not, don't take it out on me.

    • To kick this up, The Athletic has a really comprehensive piece out where pretty much all QB questions are addressed. It is worth seeing.  https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7083539/2026/03/04/starting-quarterback-projections-free-agency-draft/?source=user_shared_article I’m putting something specific here but it should have a thread or something. It is an extensive exercise.  This is a dense write up with a lot of column inches used, about the Jets and Murray and Reich, all this stuff.. then it goes to backup QB and there is Dalton.  I am pasting that part: As for Dalton, Reich is installing the offense he was trying to run in Carolina in 2023 before he got fired, and Dalton was with the Panthers then; he’s an ideal option as a veteran backup to replace Taylor. Reich said this about Dalton in 2023: “The way he's throwing the football, the way he works through progressions, the way he handles the operation. … Since day one (when) he walked in the door, I'm like, 'This guy is starter-worthy.' You guys know I've said that all along. He's, in my opinion, one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world.” ——— That’s true love lol. I never heard any of this. Pretty crazy I think, considering how the year went.   Anyway the dream is not dead. .
    • The Seahawks traded for wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. He proved to be a key acquisition. Shaheed returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the regular season and had a 95-yard kickoff return in the postseason. Shaheed, though, is scheduled for free agency. So, the 12 games he played, including the postseason, might be the extent of his time in Seattle. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Shaheed and the Seahawks are not close to an extension, and the expectation is that the two-time Pro Bowler will hit free agency. Shaheed has 153 receptions for 2,243 yards and 12 touchdowns in his four-year career to go along with three punt return touchdowns and a kickoff return touchdown. He ranks 13th on PFT’s top-100 free agents. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-rashid-shaheed-appears-headed-to-free-agency
