Dear Julius,

Now that this most recent catastrophe is behind us, we have to look towards the future. We as an organization have an open window to win the Super Bowl, but could be close quickly if the right moves are not made. Last season, 12-4 is the best record we have had in a long time, and you sir were a big part in that. You have managed yourself off the field as a good citizen, do not seem to be a distraction in the locker room, and you are the most athletic player in the NFL. No one questions your ability, although there are a few that question your desire to play. Our question to you is: That desire or lack there of that could be questioned, does it have to do with football in general or are you unsatisfied here in Charlotte?

We understand you are an NC boy all your life and may want a change of scenery, but we do not know this for sure. What we do know, by what you have said are these two very intriguing things: You want what is best for our organization and you want to compete for a Super Bowl. You cannot argue our offense, despite Jake's poor performance, has elevated itself this year. The defense dominated early on while the offense struggled, then the reverse happened the second half of the season. We cannot warrant firing Fox after a 12-4 season, so we know the philosophy is not going to change. What we need to know, since you claim you want to make sure we are left in a good position, what do you really want?

It appears you are not a money-hungry person that cares about himself first, and we appreciate that. You have made a pretty penny and will make many more. We can offer you the highest defensive contract in league history, and you are this valuable because we know other teams would do the same. We will do that to show our fans we are committed to winning and many enjoy you as a player and as a Carolina boy.

Before we do that, I want to make this offer to you: We will pay you a very high salary, but not as much as other teams would for good of our team in keeping other players such as Gross and also adding a player through FA. This is an unorthedox approach, but we know you want to win more than anything, and this gives us the best chance. This may be actually what you want us to do without saying it. You may want us to trade you and we can get good value as a result. But please consider this and do not take it as an insult, but as a chance to win. You would be a hero as a result.

You have been challenged by our owner to be a vocal leader, but we understand that is not your personality, and we have two other guys on the defensive side that have stepped up for that leadership we need. We feel you have the most God-given talent to be a very special football player, and would love for you to finish your career here be our true Hall of Famer. The ball is in your court, we know that may be your true love anyway, as we know that if your heart and desire do not lye with your current teammates and our organization, it would be best for you to move on, though many would be broken-hearted. Please consider everything we have done and our faith in you before making your final decision.

Thanks for the first seven years,

Panthers organization, teammates and fans

I wish he would stay as well. Just make it known what changes you would like to see made in the organization.

BTW, Greener pastures are overrated. They end up going through droughts and all the other problems that you have at home.

There is really no place like home.

Julius, I have been watching you since your days as a Tarheel when I was dating a girl attending there. I saw several games there in Chapel Hill, and even made the trip with her down to Atlanta to watch you and the rest of the team beat up on Auburn in the Peach Bowl. I was overjoyed to see you remain in Carolina, and become a Panther. You have always been a blast to watch on TV, and even more so in person. Please don't leave us. PLEASE!!!

    • Brah, get in we are going down Cookers injury history- 2024- hamstring injury that had a effect on his combine and pro-day= UDFA gem. panthers bought him and he rehabbed during mini. During TC he missed time with quad(future incoming here). Panthers CUT him, how?? why did they?? You have to agree one of the reasons was injury. Hes on PS for couple weeks and now on the 53. Around week 10 he goes on IR with quad.... makes it back and gives hope he's ready for 2025. 2025- He shows up in Benij shape, gets another quad injury. Adam take allllll the WRs and BY to one of Minnesotas' 10,000 lakes. No Coker, team upset and lays out a workout plan.( He follows it. )Steve Smith releases a 10 min rap beef video calling out how lazy and unprofessional Cooker is. Time passes- Panthers trade Adam with the hope Coker can take some of the reps, he gets another quad injury and hurts the Panthers plan. 6 IR weeks later he comes back, he's fresh legged and others are six weeks in. Playoffs he has a all-timer game.  So if you want to get detailed about it, there they are. He missed 3 games in 2024 (bye adds another week)due to injury and 3 games being Cut for reasons that may or did include his leg being hurt. 2025 he shows up in Benj-shape and has another mini, OTAs, and TC of rehabbing mixed with live reps. Then two days after the Adam trade, he re-injuries his troubled quad and sits on IR for 6 games.  We can or you can discuss the reasons for him being cut and determine if his injury issues were part of it or not. The main point in all this to to show their are some issues if the team is counting on Coker, as shown above and they are not just quad ones.  Hammer-time..... so for the 42nd time Im telling all who want to talk panthers and what could be in the future plans, watch out for the Matt Millen special........ cause WR is on the menu and it should be given the Panthers are one repeating quad issue from starting David fing Moore or who knows I still have a little hope XL shows up and can be a legit #2....
