Ugly loss = good thing? It could teach our young Panthers a much needed lesson.

When you replace so many veterans and starters, you have to learn to win and learn what it takes to finish games and make the four or five plays that turn the game for or against you.

That is why I said we would go 6-10 this year. We will lose games we should win because of inexperience and lack of veteran leadership. Plain and simple. But down the road playing all these young guys will benefit us. We just have to weather the problems and suck it up until better days occur.

I hope Fox lights the fire under his own ass or under whoever was responsible for those calls from the 4 yard line....not even TRYING a run is absurd.

Seriously, we as fans should expect a young team like this with so many rookies to make some mistakes. The Giants made even more.

But the coaches know what they are dealing with also. And there is no excuse for the coaching. No excuse for those calls.

If you want to blame someone for not running from the 4 yard line look no further than the offensive line. The first series we got stuffed on 2nd and short and third and short. If you take away the 29 yard run Williams had, and the scrambles by Moore, we ran a total of 21 times for 45 yards or 2 yards a carry. On short yardage we got stoned all day. Maybe he should have run it but honestly it wasn't the no brainer people on here think it was.

I get that they were stuffin the run. But arent you supposed to keep running it on them and they will break? Especially when Stew beat them over the head for over 200yds last season. That was then, this is now, yea yea.. I havent gone back and really watched the game like some of yous, but werent we 1st & goal from like the 5? And where was Stew? Not even on the field. Hell just him being out there would have made the Giants consider the possibility. I just cannot fathom why it wasnt even tried. Let Stew pickup 1 or 2, then pass for 2 or 3 or 6pts... Its over now, lets hope everybody learned something and can make adjustments during the week. C'mon Tampa..bring your asses up to Charlotte so we can hand them to yous..

Honestly I was in agreement about running Stewart. Especially when Williams got shoestring tackled at the 2 yards line earlier. Maybe it was me, but I really thought that Stewart would have run through that tackle. I would have liked us to do play action and throw to the tight end on that series instead of rolling out which restricts the field making it hard to squeeze one in.

The play action would've been a good call too.. I thought D.Will was gettin 6 on that play, he has gotten by lots tougher tacklin in the past. But, regardless, he didnt and we lost. How long before the run game gets going? i know it has taken a few games for them to get on a roll, but can we move the date up a bit?

We can't use our youth as an excuse for anything this season, IMHO. While we are the "youngest" team, the youth is spread out, and I don't think it's that much of a factor.

By saying we're a baby team makes it sound like we're starting all rookies. That's far from the truth. Moore has 9 games under his belt, Double Trouble are vets now, King and Rosie have been here a good while, the O-Line isn't fresh faced, etc. The only real youth on offense is Fiametta and the rest of our WR corp and they won't see too many throws. The D-line is a mix of young and old, same with the LBs, and the DBs all have experience.
