3 other positions of need after this season that can not or will not be helped by the draft:

QB - with Clausen and Pike's ages, a vet will be preferred and Moore appears to be gone.

Head Coach - Fox's chances of staying are below 50/50 and dropping every week

Offensive Coord. - A new HC will want his own guys but Meeks may have a shot at sticking (he could also become HC). Davidson, on the other hand, probably will get the axe.

OLB (SAM) may need adding to the list with Anderson and Davis free agents.

I think we can keep Anderson for reasonable money.

In fact with how the LB'ers have played thus far, locking them all up could really cement that position for a few years.

Beason can still be star of the show, Meeks likes to flow the tackles to the Weakside guy.

never noticed it before Kurb. Floyd you say? Like anything about him other than the existing chemistry with Jimmy? I usually only watch the ACC game of the week. may watch more once the weather cools off, but right now I like to get outside.

      Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

      The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us.
