I was driving in Raliegh a few months back over memorial day weekend, and there was an anime convention going on, furries and all, so i'm sure its a perfect city for you hahahaha.

I heard there's a school there that's rated as a top 20 state school in the nation, above even the mighty Chapel Hill, and generally regarded as one of the best engineering programs in the country.
