No trade clause,thread over.

Wont makes you think Smitty would turn a trade down for the right team? If he wants a better chance to win the Superbowl he might go. This year we still might have a chance but if the team doesnt start playing great we wont. If you was Smitty and saw what you had around you would you take a chance here or go to a team like Indy, Saints, Patriots where you have a better shot.

No trade means they can't even contact another team so he wouldn't have a chance without changing the structure of the contract. The bottom line is,he wants to stay, and win here.

You need to go do more research and comeback when you are more informed. All no trade clause means is he has to approve the trade. The Panthers can shop him around if they want too.

If the Panthers ever traded Steve Smith, Jerry Richardson would be dead the next day. Probably ruled as an accident, but we'll all know the truth!

Hell, if they trade Steve Smith, the original Steve Smith, I'll cut my wrists and start shootin' up, heroin through the veins!!!!

That was the point. The Panthers can shop him around without his consent just before he get traded he can invoke his no trade clause. BTW your not good enough to be in my nest.
