Thats just horse manure! He just has small hands...

b/c of this he cant pump fake in a way at imitates his throwing motion...which makes it easier for defenses to know when the ball is coming b/c of how drawn out his actual throwing motion is compared to his much shorter pump fake arm movement..not a good look for us...not good at all

I was going to say the exact same thing, I think he is scared or trying to think ahead too much, too fast and losing concentration

One of the knocks on him was that he has small hands.

He also throws the ball at 3/4. Not good for an NFL quarterback. The DL is too tall.

I was psyched about Claussen at first but now I see why everyone passed on him. He can be a game manager but it is going to take work.

Thats true, but he was credited for 3 fumbles vs CIncy, 1 in his short time vs TB, and one in each of the first two preseason games all non-pink balls. Im sure if the assessment is accurate, it doesnt help but he has had trouble holding on to the ball since day one. Its probably a mental issue right now more than a ball issue.

It was raining when we played Cincy. That might have had something to do with fumbling the balls.

Fwiw, I expect to see that problem go away within 1 or 2 games.
