I have a Nosey Neighbor...

I was showing a home in Providence Country Club years ago. My client and I had no sooner walked out of the house than an old lady came up to us,

"How are you and what were you doing in this home?"

"I'm a real estate agent man. This is my client and I was showing her the home." (For Sale sign clearly in the front yard!)

"You shouldn't be in someone's home when they aren't around.!"

"Mam, Agents always show homes when the owner isn't around."

"That's not right! I want your name right now!" She demanded.

I gave her my business card, and my car had First Charlotte Properties on all over it. "If you ever want to sell your home, give me a call."

"I'm not selling! Why would I call you!"

I just smiled, wished her a "Good day" and we got in my car and left.

We left the old biddy with her mouth still open!

First thing out of my client's mouth was, "Scratch that home off the list! I'm not living next to Doris Cravetts!" (Bewitched reference. Smart and beautiful client!)

The neighbor in Bewitched was Gladys Cravitts. Abner and Gladys Cravitts.
