Taking plays off...who does and who doesn't?

If anyone is going to define being lazy as not giving 100% on every play, then I would argue that it is plausible that every player in the league is guilty of this. Ever see a pass that wasn't going in Smitty's direction and he kind of slowed down? I have. But guess what? The ball was on the other side of the field so I don't have a fuging conniption over it!

I've seen the other team run the ball to the opposite side of Peppers and he comes up with the tackle. I've seen similar situations in other games with other teams and 99% of the time the player playing Pep's position isn't anywhere near making a play.

I guess the many defensive players that did well in Carolina were all in it together to exclude Peppers and make him look like a clown? It's all starting to make sense.

Anyway, I concede. Peppers' commitment can never be questioned and saying otherwise is evidence of being an incompetent prick. Unless you have the resources to go through hours of footage and put together a montage to upload to YouTube, you're a driveling moron with no understanding of football. Why do you hate Peppers so much King? Because he is leaving? He is leaving because he wants to play in a different defensive scheme, a scheme that this organisation is not comfortable running - rightfully so. No organisation is going to change for one player so it makes sense to cut ties now. Why the anger though? The guy has given us some awesome highlights and memories and it just seems so bizzare to see a fan base turn so suddenly on one of it's most revered players. We will get decent compensation for him provided we lock up Gross and thus open a new chapter lead by the fiery Beason.

That's what I don't get. I've been a fan of the Panthers since the beginning and we've had very few players I would consider "great". Peppers is one of them. I hate to see him go and I'm very pissed off at our defensive coordinator for many reasons and this is just one more reason I'm piling on.

Pressure, or continual pressure, is a term that is interchangeable with quarterback hurries. An argument should be supported by facts, which in this case are stats. You say he doesn't put continual pressure, or hurry the quarterback, and I say that he does. I can't prove it, and you can't prove it, it is merely an opinion based on what we see.

So why are you arguing? For the sake of making a thread and being an asshole to everyone that disagrees with you?

I don't hate or love Peppers, poo the only Jerseys I ever bought were Walls, Mills, and Smith.

His contract is over, so what? I don't have emotional ties to him, it's not like Smith is walking out the door.......

Of course nobody has answered the question. I have yet to hear about ONE player that doesn't take plays off. All I've heard is the same bullshit opinions from the same bullshit people.
