With the first rounder, I honestly don't think so.

When he fell to 48 though, that was one of those "gotta pull the trigger" scenarios.

but were also willing to trade up as far as the 1st to take him. the only thing that stopped us was our unwillingness to trade next years 1st(thankfully)

Actually, Smitty got suspended when he was still in JC for fighting, so he did have a bit of a reputation before he even got to Utah.

Anyway, I don't really care how the Panthers use their D-line rotation, but I do wish Brayton would stop crashing inside so often, because RB's are seeing that and going right for the area he just vacated. This is getting frustrating, because it's been happening for 3 years now. Forte did this about 4 times when we played Chicago, including that TD run on their first posession.

Dez Bryant never had any real character concerns.. the knock was on his organizational skills, his maturity to handle the lime light and money.. all of that is easily fixable, and obviously hasn't been the slightest of issues..

all he's done is show up hurt and make plays...

anyhow, I'm tired of hearing about character problems with every little player mentioned on this forum.. every tedious comment you all make doesn't mean the player won't be a great addition..

I hear ya if you think the FO wouldn't take Bryant.. but like the FO, if you feel Bryant wouldn't be a great addition, you're crazy..
