Game 2: Pacers @ Bobcats

I suggested in a thread at BP that at this point, I would trade Jax for:

Bulls:

*Luol Deng or James Johnson/Taj Gibson

Cavs:

*Any of these players -

Hickson (#1 choice), Varejao, Gibson, Williams, or Sessions

Trailblazers:

Rudy Fernandez and Patty Mills

And I suggested before the regular season over there that we need to make a move for Arenas while his stock is so low due to his off court issues...

I'd take any of those guys. We need a post scorer with moderately good defensive abilities (Hickson or Varejao) and a PG to compete with DJ.

At this point, I'd look into the DJ for Tj Ford deal again. Diaw for Calderon or whatever...

Yup, TJ was DJ's daddy last night.

I Asked earlier but is Jackson injured or has he just lost it since last year?

Jackson always gets better as the season goes on. Each month he averages better statistics. Also Brown wanted him to drop weight this offseason, he could be adjusting to his new weight which can take awhile sometimes.

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
