No FA's are killing/killed this team

you cannot blame any one thing. Poor decisions across the board this offseason led to this. FA, QB, OC, HC, GM, WR, RB, OL, DL, etc.

There are all sorts of de de dee moves made by this franchise

FA is more of a crap shoot than the draft is. 9 times out of 10, a player is a FA for a reason. Every year there are about 200 or so players that fit free agency. Of those 200, probably only 5 at the most are FA because they choose to be. Most of the time a FA is leaving a team because the team that knows him best doesn't believe he is worth the money he can get in the open market. That right there should tell you a lot.

I think the reason for the season and last season have already been fired. The Richardson sons I think made a lot of mistakes while JR was away. Maybe it's just my conspricy theroy in too high of a gear but I don't think Hurney was the one that gave Delhomme that contract extension. If JR was willing to fire his sons, why does Hurney still have a job after that contract? To me I think it all goes back to Mark and John. Sadly, this season is a result of the decissions they were making. I know everyone wants to pile on JR but to me he is doing the smartest thing right now considering what he had to work with.

I can't believe that there are still people that actually think Housh would have signed here for that cheap contract. He signed with a team that had a legitimate shot at a SB.....something that the Panthers are not.

I don't have a clue.. what I do know is the cheap contract comes from Seattle paying a large contract to him this year for the team who picked him up..

whether he would have or not... if you say no, then I guess the answer is no. I, on the other hand, have no clue..

Housh isn't an argument I really care about when there were 2 better receivers I would rather argue we could have made a play for..

at the end of the day, trying to get those receivers is the only thing you can do.. there is never a guarantee you will or won't get them.. unless of course, when you don't try, you are guaranteed not to..
