Need a Week 9 Fill in at TE...

With Vernon Davis on bye this week, I will need to pick up a TE. My league is 10 yards per point, 6 points per TD, 0.5 points per reception. I tried to get Jacob Tamme, but someone snagged him this morning. My legitimate options are:

Tony Moeaki @ Oakland

Visanthe Shiancoe vs. Arizona

Owen Daniels vs. San Diego

Brent Celek vs. Indy

Kellen Winslow @ ATL

Greg Olsen @ Buffalo

Aaron Hernandez @ Cleveland

There are other options like John Carlson, Shockey, Ben Watson, etc. but I'm thinking the above options are my best ones. At this point, my lean is Winslow but he managed one catch for five yards against the Cardinals this past week. What do you think, Huddle Gurus?

Moeaki leads the team with receptions, but has never had more than 58 yards in a game.

Don't know about Shiancoe, Favre hasn't been a world beater.

Re: Owens, Chargers have the best pass D, but have given up 441 yards and 5 TD to TE. Could have some potential, considering Kevin Walter and Jacoby Jones aren't so hot lately.

Hell no on Celek.

No on Winslow too, he hasn't done much.

Speaking of not doing much is Olson, but the Bills have a horrible pass D

I'd take Aaron Hernandez personally. Didn't do much last week but I like his matchup against the Browns. But you never with the Pats who they will spread the ball too. Owens a close second.

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
