Has anyone heard

I hear all of you guys ideas. He could reinjure himself by coming back to soon again or he could come out and have a steller remaining season and increase his value. But hopefully his value with us (Panthers) is already set. Davis is great at LOLB in our scheme and I think that his love for the game and desire and competitiveness will bring him back.

but if he goes back on the shelf......the new coach has no loyalty to Davis. Davis will just be a guy who blew his knee out two years in a row. Also, we don't know what are scheme will be next year.

I think Davis will want to play and I think Fox is a "players coach" and will let him.

I wouldn't do it if I were him. We don't need him either. And as much as I like him as a player, his body of work to date would not have given him a huge contract anywhere but here. He's been good, then had that one amazing stretch, then got hurt. So he should be smart, stay healthy, stay here, and we'll pay him right.

I hope that you're right. I'd like to see how well him, Beason and Anderson would do together.

    • So funny see people continue to talk like Darnold isn’t one of the best QBs in the NFL for the second season in a row. Two different teams and situations, he is for real and not just a product of the system.   He struggles under pressure lol what QB doesn’t? Did anyone watch Mahomes in the SB?
    • While I was aware that Horn does not shadow WR1 I learned something interesting in the game from one of the announcers ... Horn ALWAYS plays the short side of the field.  As in, he will switch sides when the ball moves from one hash tag to the other. It seems intuitive that short side of field equals easier route coverage (correct me if I'm wrong) and expanding further I wonder if Mike Jackson was put into that role would his stats improve? If Horn is such a shut down corner, why isn't he just following the biggest WR threat around the field? Is there something inherently harder about covering the short side of the field?  Why make life easier for your best CB?
    • I wonder what the true state of Chuba's calf is? I remember it being mentioned a couple of times last year that it was something they were managing then after the Cardinals game last year we put him on IR. He then reinjured it this year. That would seem to explain why he looks slower and less explosive than in years past. Chubas running style was a one cut explode through the hole type of back and it just doesn't look like he has that ability right now.
