Purchasing a new place is always an exciting experience and seeking additional opinions from an internet message board isn't a bad idea. We need a bit more info before we can help you. Condo C: Penthouse ;)

I like that idea! But my cat can't reach the elevator controls to go outside. She goes stir crazy when she has to say inside for a day if it rains. (Litterally bouncing off the walls.)

All the neighbors are older than I am! :(

I'm leaning toward Condo B. The cabinet space that is there is over twice what I have now! (My apartment is tiny!) I love cooking "gadgets"! A deep fryer, juicer! I can get a carpet cleaner out there in a couple of days before I move in. Once we close.

I also like a ceiling fan in the living room. I plan to use the Dining Room as my computer area. And I also like that fact that I don't have to roll up hill or down hill to go in and out.

BUT, I like the fact that Condo A is right up against the complex grassy area. (It would be much better for the cat.) However, right now, she mostly just sits on the little sidewalk out my front door of the apartment and cars go in and out of the parking lot. (Which is now 4 feet outside my door.)

My realtor said whichever one I like we can put an offer in on and play one against the other. If they don't like my offer, we can always to with the other one.

Maybe if I sleep on it.

It's out Albemarle Road. There's a pretty new Target, Total Wine, Lowes almost right across the road. There's a Chik-filet, Quiznos Subs, H & R Block, Total Tan, Radio Shack all within rolling distance of my powered wheelchair. Then almost across the street from all of that is a Walmart (Nice one actually!) and DQ! Plus a bunch of other little shops. There's a seafood restaurant close (2-5 miles away.) Lots of other places to eat. A Goodwill store near the Walmart. Also, just about every major bank has a branch right that.

The other condo I was looking at, has a 2 car garage and a small sun room. But it was 20 minutes+ away from everything! Also, these are $34,000 cheaper! I didn't think and extra garage and small sunroom was worth $34,000+. (For $34,000+ less and $500-$700 less in taxes a year, I could buy another place and have a mega model railroad layout. That's what I plan to use the garage for anyway.)

I picked B. I do worry about your kitty getting ran over, though.

I really thing she will be okay. I have lived here in this small apartment complex for 4 years. the parking area is 4 feet in front of my door. and people go whizzing in and out all the time. I always leave my front door cracked so she can run in and out. After sleeping on it, I don't think this will be a problem.

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
