And Edwards can't even get activated?

Legit reason?

He's not taken any reps as QB, he doesn't know the playbook as a QB. There are several reasons.

He's a WR now, get over it.

You can use that reason on anyone new to a team, would you say that to peyton manning if he was just traded to us?

btw he has acually played QB in a real game this year, also threw it he didn't just run it in wildcat

You must be some kind of new breed.

They could teach Armanti a few plays within a week.

To say, "He is not an NFL QB" is ridiculous! Moore is the only QB I saw today that is an NFL QB, and he is not that good.

At least with Armanti Edwards running around in the backfield some, some receivers could get open. AE has a great throwing arm.

Under other circumstances id agree but we blow hard this year... we have seen what matt moore and jimmy clausen can do and its not impressive. So why not give edwards a shot?? Do you really think he could look any worse than what we had back there today??

And you know what if he sucks then at least we know and less threads would be made on this topic lol.

Aside from whether Edwards can play or not because we really dont know but damn, we gave up a high round draft choice. Put his ass in the damn game. We know he sucks as a receiver, he sucks as a punt returner so put his ass in at Q fkin B!... But in retrospect, Jesus and Moses would suck if they were under this philosphy...

Lets just say for what if........he has played in one game so far as qb for two plays.....the first which is a stupid play.....lafell cannot run out of the backfield he is a wr.....they tried it last week as well for about the same gain. The second play, which is what we would see more of with AE in the gun.........7yrds.......and he can throw we saw that in the preseason......

Next week, shut me up or eat CRow

    • More praise of Renfrow from Tim Weaver (formerly of USA Today's Panthers Wire, now SI.com), and also what I told some of you, my Huddle friends, from the start: keep it all in perspective, and don't conveniently---and perhaps unfairly, discount and label Renfrow as a JAG when it was a very debilitating illness affecting his play.    "It's understandable to be skeptical about Renfrow's abilities at this late point in his career. After all, he missed all of last season due to a bout of ulcerative colitis that also took a serious toll on his production in 2022 and 2023."   When Renfrow is healthy, he's an above average guy. Being 29 may hurt or help his chances depending upon perspective, but 29 for receivers generally means that there's still (sometimes plenty) gas in the tank. Renfrow also obviously has plenty of motivation and has come with his game face.   "Then agan, seeing is believing and by all accounts Renfrow has been very impressive since joining the Panthers a few months ago... Where Renfrow will fit in Carolina's new-look receiver corps remains to be seen, but at this rate it's going to be hard to exclude him from the initial 53-man roster." https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/hunter-renfrow-sick-route-panthers-training-camp Read the room, ladies and gentlemen. And don't get it twisted; Renfrow isn't the most talented receiver on the team, but we have seen his ceiling, when healthy, in a Raiders offense that wasn't necessary replete with talent. Consider what he can do, especially in the slot, in a Panthers offense primed with young talent (no pun intended). From sick to "sick routes," eh?
    • That is literally what I am talking about. Those were 53 man cuts. Not at the beginning of camp.  I would say the odds of Barno being back are extremely thin.
