Official Petition to Play Armanti Edwards

Guys, after watching that last game, i've had enough. The QB situation is absolutely ridiculous, and the only hope I have seen so far is David Gettis.

What surprises me is that the Panthers have yet to play Armanti Edwards.

Lets look at his collegiate statistics.

Season Passing Rushing

GP GS Rating Comp Att % Yards TD INT Att Yards Avg TD

2006 15 13 140.72 167 274 60.9 2,251 15 10 188 1,153 6.1 15

2007 11 11 159.34 148 222 66.7 1,948 17 7 237 1,588 6.7 21

2008 13 13 170.20 196 306 64.1 2,902 30 9 193 941 4.9 11

2009 12 12 147.90 257 378 68.0 3,291 12 7 137 679 5.0 18

Totals 51 49 154.54 768 1,180 65.1 10,392 74 33 755 4,361 5.8 65

Yea, those are some horrible statistics.

So lets look at some of his Collegiate Awards.

Walter Payton Award — 2008, 2009

Southern Conference Bob Waters Male Athlete of the Year — 2010

Southern Conference Roy M. "Legs" Hawley Offensive Player of the Year (media) — 2008*, 2009*

Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Year (coaches) — 2008, 2009

Southern Conference Freshman of the Year (coaches and media) — 2006

All-Southern Conference Football Team:

1st Team (media) — 2006, 2008, 2009

1st Team (coaches) — 2006, 2008, 2009

2nd Team (coaches) — 2007

5x Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Month — 11/2006, 11/2007, 10/2008, 11/2008, 10/2009

8x Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Week

5x Southern Conference Freshman of the Week

Meh, he could have done a lot better.

Oh wait I forgot, he also helped ASU to back to back National Championships (In a playoff system) in 2006 and 2007; as well as helping them to four straight Socon Championships from 2006 - 2009.

All that talent sitting on the bench.

Tisk Tisk Panthers.

So to all you Panthers fans looking for some sort of change, sign this petition.

Just put him on the field, at least.

PLAY ARMANTI EDWARDS

trust me, when all the armanti-ites wake up, you'll get a flood of them.

Oh I know man, thats why I came here.

Look I'm at student at Appalachian State and I've seen what he can do.

Yea it was the FCS, and yea he's small.

But hell, our fourth string running back has two consecutive 100 yard rushing games, with great run blocking. The dude can run, why not try it for at least quarter.

Not trying to be another Armanti-ite, cause if he played against the Ravens at QB, he would have died to Ray Lewis.

I'm working on a petition to serve all you can eat waffles and bacon at all home games. I will let you guys know when I work out all the details.

God I hope so, if my ridiculous petition gets anywhere, lord knows where you could go with that.

    • I'm used to people crapping on the panthers in public spaces. I used to have to defend Cam fugging Newton until I was blue. I come here to talk Panthers and it is literally the same 5 posters you see in this very thread saying the same things, every single day. it's not about having tough skin, it's the constant negativity by the same people. its boring, its annoying, it clogs discussions. this place has really changed and I regret signing back in. I only have like 5 mins a day to spend consuming panthers content and its always the same posters and same crap. we used to have a 6'6 gunslinging battery ram, and he would constantly get dragged through the mud for not being enough, or doing this or that or not diving on a fumble. at the end of the day, it's a people problem. people love to bitch and complain. they'll never be content, they'll never just sit back and root the team on. we had one of the best teams in the NFL on the ropes to move onto the next round of the playoffs while the stadium was alive and well and that wasn't even enough to just enjoy the show.
    • I mean Stroud had a down year, but it was still better than Bryces best year
    • Anybody else see that the panthers have the fewest miles travelled of any team this year? Don’t know it matters too much but it can’t hurt 🤷‍♂️
