100 worst NFL players of all time. (Difficulty: No current Panthers)

No 2010 Panthers but we had a few from our short history make the illustrious list:

63. Rae Carruth; wide receiver; Panthers; 1997-99: Carolina's 23rd all-time leading receiver ran dreadful routes when he wasn't allegedly hiring a hitman to kill his girlfriend.

59. Chris Weinke; quarterback; Panthers, 49ers; 2001-07: Started 15 games as a 29-year-old rookie and reminded many of another Heisman winner — the immortal Gino Torretta. Started only four more games before his retirement after '07.

53. Curtis DeLoatch; cornerback; Giants, Saints, Panthers; 2004-07: Save for covering and tackling, awfully good.

25. Rashard Anderson; cornerback; Panthers; 2000-01: Made Deion Sanders look physical. An indefensible first-round blunder.

So who did they miss NOT on the current roster?

Surely there's room on that list for Dwayne Jarrett. 3 seasons and 4 games (52 total) for a guy picked in the second round.

I almost feel like you have to do more than nothing to be among the worst of all time. This seems strange, but I think you need to be the kind of player that not only failed to meet expectations but also failed hard in some other way.

I agree with the poster above. This is the 2nd time I've seen this list and Im still mad that got my boy DeLoatch on there. He doesnt deserve to be on there

Good point Mav, you could argue that only Carruth did enough while doing so little to make this list as a Panther.

that list is wierd. It's not really the worst players ever, it's the worst notable players ever.

I'm sure there are worse tackles than Kenyatta Walker, but those 3 false starts were so infamous he made the list.

A bunch of random late round busts would just be a boring list to read.
