Trgovac, Gantt divulge a little more

And you completely missed the point that guy was making, which I agree with, and many will agree with. There is no logic between people's rational thoughts. So we're going to bash on Trgo becuase he's inept and cannot form defensive schemes, however, he didn't sign with us, so now we are going to say he was great and since he was great, he sheds light on the franchise.

(in other words, the blitzing part just falls in line with peoples thoughts that he sucks, but now he doesn't because he didn't resign)

I think you missed the point.......

What does Turd not being able to design a blitz have to do with his telling of how Fox is or how the Panthers are?

Who is saying Turd is great? I have heard people say they actually respect him now.

Those that thought he sucked as a DC still thinks he sucks.....

give me a break.. Turd is now the voice of reason concerning Fox now?

people who agree Turdo couldnt design a blitz to get to a geriatrick QB, now think he is the voice of illumination on Fox and Panthers... LOL

In other words this guy thinks that Turd is not the voice of reason because he sucked, and is mocking/scoffing at the people who thinks he sucked but also thinks he may be right about what they think Fox is like.

We were talking about our comments, so perhaps I missed YOUR point, because we weren't addressing YOUR point.. whatever that was.

I think it speaks volumes to the situation that occurred. And this is THE point, whether your point is different, changed, whatever...

For the last 2 years, Trgo could never do right. (And I have to agree, I'm glad to see a new DC come in. Speculate all you like, now we'll see what the problem is). So he could never do right. But SUDDENLY, since he didn't resign with us, people are jumping the other route saying, "Trgo wasn't the problem."

Regardless if you agree or not, the funny thing about all this is how quick people are to change their minds. And that's the point I agree has been made.

Blitzing isn't the issue, it's an example of the issue.

Me agreeing with this simple, clear statement wasn't meant to carry on more than 1 comment. But it did, so anyhow, carry on. =)

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
