We absolutley should resign Deangelo...

No way we should let him walk. we need to resign him to a friendly contract and then either keep him or trade him. That way we get something for him. We have already let peppers walk for free, we need to either keep our first rounders or trade them when they still have value.

That assumes that DWill will sign a "friendly contract".

Fans are dillusional that most of the players have enough emotional attraction to a team to turn down more money to stay. They understand that this is a business....so should the fans.

I am not saying that a player (Dwill included) might not sign for "slgihtly less" than what another crappy team would pay. However, to think that he would give us a great deal is dillusional.

i almost seriously doubt you guys resign him unless hes worried about the CBA... you guys should have traded him when you had the chance.. Hes 27.. so you could have EASILY gotten a 1st out of him plus another pick... and you got stewart behind him who imo is better..

if we can get a 2nd we should take that. it wouldn't be smart to sign him to long term contract imo. he'll be 28 by the start of next season and he'll be declining about two or three years into his new contract. might as well see if we can get anything for him
