Another stop on our current west coast road trip. Bobcats have missed G-Force badly the past few games. His presence has been the difference between winning and losing. The Jazz have been off and on this season and are definitely beatable. But we're gonna need big games from Raja Bell and our bench guys to win this 1. GO BOBCATS!!!

The way we started and the fact that the best 3 players for Utah made it hard to watch us lose. Okafor was killing, Juwuan Howard couldn't miss. However we were missing Wallace, Augustin and May (not that fatty ever plays). Tough game to watch.

      Pretty sure that a QB contract payday is all the competition any QB in this league needs, I don't think a competent backup is going to make them play any harder when the current situation wouldn't warrant the contract extension yet anyways. Your opening point in this post is also the problem, "Bryce has shown signs of improving", but that's still all he's shown, and he's only showing that because of just how bad he was to start his career. If he played like last season from the beginning and never improved one bit, then I actually think more fans would be ready to move on from him, which is what's weird.  It's like going from one of the biggest draft busts of all time into the 25th best QB in the league over 3 years means he deserves a long term $40+ million a year contract extension. Improvement shouldn't be the goal when the result of said improvement is still bottom of the league levels.

      Yeah, but we've seen him do it. Just not often. I think that's the reason for the taller WRs. Would likely be a problem finding someone like Jimmy Horn in the mess.

      And the Rams, Seattle, Patriots, Green Bay, Jaguars and the Bills who all made the playoffs and in case you forgot, Seattle and the Patriots played in the SB. By any measure, that's pretty brutal.
