The one thing Fox seems to be good at on the offensive side is finding running backs. Denver will either bring in a solid free agent, ala Stephen Davis, or pick up someone in the draft.

Defensively, I have no doubt that Fox will make them significantly better. Even if switching defenses, he will have them in the top 10 in two years.

Only question is QB, and I am betting that Denver's front office will have a say in who the OC and QB's coach is.

They will. The Golden Calf of Bristol is the future in Denver, guaranteed.

Kyle Orton is on the trade block and we're looking to trade him. Asking for a 2nd rounder, will be traded for a 3rd. Delays on CBA talks may keep him in Denver for another year though, it depends on the deal we'll be making and when - and we will be making one (Arizona or Vikings maybe?).

fox is a fantastic coach, he was always competitive, always in games till the very end, never got flustered, always stuck to his gameplans despite all the armchair qbs blabbing about, he will do well in denver, this season was an exception to the rule for him and completely the fault of ownership not coach, I personally will miss him

^^^Yeah always stuck to his gameplan even when the other team made corrections during halftime. Thats why he is a crappy coach. Never made adjustments!!!!

I'm happy with the hire, definitely liking it. Thank you for letting go of Fox, just what we need in Denver with the system we're employing.

I expect Fox to take us back to average/slightly below average right from the get go and then we'll go from there. However, it is essential he and GM Xanders get the draft just right and for the love of someone, lets get rid of Orton. Interested? (you shouldn't be)

Best of luck to you guys, you deserve some success but you'll need to get rid of that bum Clausen, seriously. He is beyond horrible and I knew it from the get go. Quit making excuses for the guy and get yourself a real quarterback. People laughed but damn, am I happy we got The Golden Calf of Bristol and not Clausen in Denver.

Glad you are liking it. Hope he does well there (except when playing against us). It was definitely time for a change of scenery though, for him, and for us.

If he sticks to his philosophy, just be prepared to see him stick with vets, play conservative (play not to lose), and keep games close, running out the clock and scoring just enough to win towards the end. But who knows, sometimes a season like he's just had, and moving to a new owner with a new team will change a guy.

As for Clausen, my gut feeling is he may get a little better, but not good enough to be "the man" here. I'd be willing to trade him to y'all straight up with Orton. Let's get this done
