I never really saw Bane do or say anything intelligent. I only ever remember him running around saying "I will break you!" etc.

yea, that's mostly what I remember too. I never really liked him either but I doubt they hired tom hardy to run around screaming.

I'd classify him as really smart. He was able to outsmart batman by letting all the criminals from Arkham go and then just wait while Batman exhausted himself trying to capture them all. And I might be thinking of someone else but I think Bane also found out Batman's identity but I think the whole Batmans identity thing shouldn't be a major plot point for the movie.

I think that's probably it as well. The other possible plot rumor I heard was Hugo Strange discovering Batman's identity. So I think Batman's identity being uncovered in this one is a safe bet.

One interesting thing is they didn't make mention of catwoman in the press release. I wonder if Catwoman will only be alluded to and it'll focus more on Selina Kyle in this movie. That'll kind of blow since this is the last Nolan batman movie.

That was Bane from Knightfall.

They kinda turned him into a dumbass later on if I recall correctly. He had his five minutes of fame and then became pretty worthless.

Didn't Bane kill batman in the old comics? That'd be crazy if He dies at the end of the movie lol
