Is there any archive of Panthers games from over the years?

I've been browsing online for the past half hour or so looking for an archive collection that perhaps the NFL or somebody keeps that you could go back and watch old games.

It's hard to believe that all tapes from prior seasons just end up in the trash (or with Steve Sabol) but so far I haven't had any success.

I know some posters were trying to create one a while back.

I'd just really like to find a collection of some of our older games. I'd pay for 'em too!!

That's pretty awesome. Does it have every game in-full?

EDIT: I just Googled it, and while it's something I'll probably buy, it still doesn't have anything but highlights.

I don't understand why it's so hard to get your hands on a games. Does the NFL have some sort of license?

If so, why don't they make games available for purchase? (I assume the answer to that question would be to avoid people stealing the footage, but is it really worth that much to them? What do they plan on doing with them?)

The nfl archives every single game and stores them but they say on their site that it is not possible to get a hold of them. But I bet u could get a favor if u had connections.

Im on my phone but I could show u a very good site with games back to 95 the next few days. They don't have complete seasons but they have all the recent classics and the more recent a season the more tapes they have.

It's kind of complicated if your not used to the kind of methods they use. But it's wonderful.

I have a ton of games.

05 vikings, giants, and bears

03 bucs, cowboys, rams, eagles

04 bucs

96 niners to win division

A bunch of 08 and 09 games, both wins and some of the more interesting losses of 10

I also have a good amount of interesting games that were extremely entertaining or had historical releavance like breaking a record. They are pretty recent.

It's oodles of fun Im not religious but I can't think of any other word than blessed.

If the huddlers here would try to put less resources into tomfoolery and into helping your fellow panther fans we would have quite the network.

Well I'll be looking forward to that website.

Come to think of it I remember you mentioning a while back you wanted to get an archive going, and that'd be something I'd be glad to hop in on if you can get me the first few steps (where to look and such)

Pretty sure it's copyright infringement to archive games. Per that 15 second spot by the NFL at the end of every game. Not that I care mind you, but if you make it toooo public then NFL will hunt you down just like it hunted down the churches that played the Super Bowl and the Tampa Bay bars that played Buccaneer games during this season.

IF they sold tapes of games I would buy them EVERY single year. But they don't. I don't bootleg movies or music because i like to support the creators especially if it's good. But with this there isn't any possible way to acquire the games other than torrents or taping them yourself.

I was taping them myself through a TV capture card and storing them on big ass hard drives but my comp bit the dust.

I used to have every single game of the 2008 season.. then my hdd decided it was a good idea to corrupt them all. I've attempted recovery on them a couple times but oh well. Maybe it was the NFL infringing on my privacy and destroying them. who knows..

I'm a little hyper right now I might be able to show you sunday. The sign up process is complicated because they have an old site and a new site which makes it annoying. If you join the old one you have to reset your password on the old one then sign in with the reset password on the new one, then change your password upon sign in.

It can throw people for a loop and it's difficult to explain properly. I love showing people this site and then hate having to explain how to join it. It's an awful system they have there but once you get in you have just about any nfl game you want in about 6 hours more or less depending on your connection.

    • Hello, soccer fans [crickets, tumbleweed flies by]. The World Cup kicks off in less than 2 weeks and, well, 🇺🇸USA USA USA🇺🇸 and all. We beat Senegal 3-2 yesterday in a tune-up friendly at BoA, with Christian Pulisic finally entering the scoring column.  How will we do in the World Cup once our tournament kicks off on the 12th? Well, there are 48 teams (assuming Iran is there) and it feels like one of two thing happens: we get grouped for the first time since '98, or we make it to the Round of 16 for the third time in the last four World Cups. I tried out the lottery for an Atlanta game and struck out, so yesterday was as World Cup as I'll get for in-person ($285/ticket for like Norway vs $39/ticket for USMNT right beforehand was a layup).  The U.S. has a travel-heavy schedule in group play, playing in LA, Seattle and LA. Real road warrior mentality being built. Glad the east coast gets worse kickoff times for a NA World Cup than a Qatar World Cup.
    • Well, that's the thing. Drafting players only for their physical measurables as you are suggesting only really happened during 2024, and X unfortunately has become the poster child for that. To be clear, it's not necessarily about drafting RAS over skill, but RAS over NFL-readiness and/or a solid body of work. Lots of players show skill in college, but those skills don't necessarily translate to the NFL for a multitude of reasons. But, getting back to the main point, to be clear, I believe that our FO is still enamored with physical gifts (who wouldn't be?), but now they're letting Dr. Eric Eager's proprietary system--his "secret sauce" prioritize the players that the Panthers draft, and it seems like it weighs not only a solid body of work, relative to a college career of course, but consistent gradual improvement as evidenced by production pretty highly.
    • Its a good article about how pathetically bad our past drafts ('23 and '24) have been. Building the team in '23 since we weren't ready yet and taking your qb in '24 made so much more sense in hindsight. Ladd McConkey over XL is pretty much a given but not sure it does as much to change Bryce's trajectory as the author suggests.  As bad as '23 and '24 drafts were, the '25 and '26 really give me hope.
