hmm... that is true. WR's too.

but we have seen DB's do that

Heard it from Monstercat first: Peterson is the pick!

Don't put words in my mouth. I saw T.J Yates light that LSU secondary up for 440yds and he completed multiple passes against Peterson . The kid is a hell of a player but he can be beaten.

They all can be beaten, or pancaked, or tackled for loss, or throw bad passes, or etc etc.

None of these guys is as perfect as their highlight reels make them look.

Yet, fans expect them to be. I believe that's one reason why so many people hate Peppers so much. The expectations were never realistic with him in the first place. Even Reggie White got man handled at times though, so people should have known better.

I don't see the unrealistic expectations ending anytime soon.

It's why I don't like "highlight reel scouting". Everybody looks good in the highlight reel. You have to watch a whole game to really get the truth.

    • I agree but he honestly has gotten better about this. Used to be he’d do it like 4-5 times a game, now it’s like 2-3. Overall I’m incredibly happy with his game, his D has been solid and when he is playing his role he’s a solid scorer and one of the few guys who can consistently finish at the rim and provide that threat. Plus he’s electric and LaMelo loves him. Going into the season I was sure he would just be a stop gap here but now I’m reconsidering and could see him continue to be a “core” piece here. Obviously not on the level of the other starters but he is an important cog for this team. We felt his missed presence during his and Moose’s suspensions.
    • Philly will be a bigger challenge than the Knicks were IMO. George and Embiid are back, not sure about Maxey but Embiid alone is a nightmare matchup for us and Moose. We’ve never really done well against him. Celtics added Tatum but honestly not sure they’re all that much better with him right now than they were when we whooped them a few weeks ago. We should be able to at the very least split these 2, hopefully take both.
