Fisher out in Tennessee

His record against teams that made the playoffs are 5-9 (and if you want to the count the loss that he had in the playoffs, it would be 5-10)

So you are saying he sucks because he has an average record against winning teams? That's a win percentage of 55% (And if you want to count his 5-10 record, it would be 50%). To me that's pretty decent.

If he's 5-9 that's only 36% winning percentage ... 5-4 is 55%

Jeff Fisher ended his coaching career with that stunt he pulled on Vince that day. Cant say Im shocked by this at all. Jeff just never had the maturity and intelligence you want out of an NFL head coach to be successful. I give all the credit in the world to Eddie George and Steve McNair for allowing this guy to stick around as long as he has. It seems Bud got tired of his coach resting on his laurels from 12 years ago. Fisher could've kept his job if he just listened to reason instead of using the Titans for some Kerry Collins comeback story. What a waste.

You don't know that's what got him fired. Once again, typical KT post: all opinion, no facts.

fixed for correctness

Because George and McNair decided to keep Fisher around.

Yes, Fisher decided to go with the Collins comeback story. It had nothing to do with VY freaking out, becoming a nut case, sucking ass for a while, or Collins playing well when Young got hurt. But we all have learned you have those conspiracy theories.

What a waste.

Pretty much a great description of all your posts.

Skew going to bat for Jeff Fisher. LMAO. Pathetic. Dudes just have to identify with and defend failure, they cant help it. You and Jeff are right around the same age and you act about as immature and ego driven as he does. So that shouldnt surprise me. Jeff just wasnt smart enough to realize if I poo on the QB who saved my job last year, who is gonna save my ass this year? Without Vince, Fisher looked inept and uncomfortable. Bud had no choice Skewie, I wouldnt expect you to understand that.

Show me where I defended Fisher. I just pointed out that everything you stated was your opinion. No facts. A typical KT post.

Twist everything to your point of view KT. We're use to it.

    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
    • The fact that this is even a discussion is a testament of the level of front office badassery that's going on.
    • Not always. LT was for the Giants. So was Ray Lewis. Von Miller was moreso than Manning his final year in the season that shall not be named. It's usually the QB, but not always.
