At Overtime Sports Bar in North Myrtle Beach,,,,that place was electric and 98% Panther fans in black jerseys...to this day if you walk in that lobby/entrance, they have a statue of a life size Panther and above that is the Patriot/Panther helmets facing one another. :cheers2:

I was in the Danish military doing my national service and we were on a training mission out i the woods. I stole a jeep and drove back to the base and saw the game. After the game drove back again and they never noticed I was gone:)

In Denmark the game was on in the middle of the night.

And thats is a true story.

I was just living in Ft. Lauderdale.

My current neighbor helped open that place in 1999 (I believe that was the year). I used to go there all the time when I lived in Murrels Inlet. Long ass drive up there but it was a great sports bar.

The Panthers played in Super Bowl XXXVIII.

Where were you?

I was in my first year of college, in a Julius Peppers jersey, drinking cheap beer on our crap couch. Even though we lost, the excitement of February 1, 2004 is still my favorite Panther moment.

I was in elementary school wearing my panthers sports jacket.

I was in 8th grade, surrounded my the most pathetic Pats fans possible. I talked up a huge game all week, rocked my #17 every day that week to school. Watched the game with all of my dad's (Colts fan) old frat brothers who loved the Patriots. I remember wearing a Minter jersey and a Panthers flag as a cape.

A game that will live in infamy. Tough being a Panther fan in Patriot land :frown2:

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
