I've been playing Pokemon White a bunch lately. Sure the gameplay is very similar to previous Pokemon games but I gotta tell you the formula just works. How Nintendo manages to put together these games and repeat the formula for endless sequels and still manage to make games that I enjoy is amazing.

I think the way the manage to accomplish such a feat is by focusing on the small things. The best example I can give is how much I am enjoying the music and the dialogue in Pokemon White.

If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend it.

3DS has terrible battery life. I put 200 hours into Pokemon Diamond, gonna be hard to do that when you need to charge the 3DS every few hours.
