tyler thigpen was drafted in the 7th round and has the same career QB rating as moore but he was a bust

shut your fuging face little man

Thigpen as a starter :1-11 with 16TD/12INT

Moore as a starter: 7-6 with 16TD/11INT

Moore is better than him and a winner

Thigpen is still a bust

Please keep trying

Ya look at fairley, and I see a guy that isn't committed to his body, that gets by on his ability. Is he disruptive sure.

I look at dareus, and I see a guy who is committed to his body, and craft. He's built like a mach truck, with ferrari agility. Nobody gets lower than him. He's going to win that leverage battle everytime. Non stop motor.

If I choose between them, it's dareus. He's the one who is more likely to have a long, consistent career as a disruptive dt.

It may be easier said than done but I would be willing to bet that the coaching staff could work wonders on Fairley.

Everyone flips out just because a guy is built and had an impressive pro day. If pro days when Super Bowls then I would say sure go with Dareus or Gabbert.

However, since they don't I would like to see Newton or Fairley in a Panthers uniform next year.

^ If more was a winner we would not be looking at a QB

Try Again.

His win loss record says he's a winner, no? Considering the clusterfug that this year was and games he didn't get to finish, that's not a bad record.

He was 6-2 going into this past clusterfug with a 10-3 TD/Int ratio

this is all thigpen's fault. No it's got nothing to do with Kansas City's awful 2008 defense and the fact that KC couldn't replenish their aging OL fast enough at the time.

Moore as a starter: 7-6 with 16TD/11INT

lol 3 stats, wow you really know how to debate. are those all pro caliber numbers by the way? still waiting on moore to have that blockbuster breakout season you think he is capable of.

Moore is better than him and a winner

to me winners are QBs who've been to the playoffs. Seeing as how Moore's only saved his best performances after playoff elimination or against 2nd string defenses, only hapless rubes such as yourself would think he has any more value than being a capable backup QB.

Thigpen is still a bust

lol you think the boom/bust dichotomy is relevant down to that round

No I actually don't think it is but it seemed to me the point you were making was that he wasn't a bust and I was just showing how terrible he is and if you had to put a label on him it would be that.

I spent a long time talking about how "busts" aren't really applicable after the first round and occasionally second round.

If you didn't mean that, what the hell was the point of your first response?

I said it was 100% bust, which it was.

Then you said "Only if you assume..." meaning that the 100% number isn't accurate, which it is.

I'm guessing you didn't really have a point, just saw my name attached to a post, quoted, and tried to do your little thing you do and of course the result was the same, shall I say fail?

You can cut and paste it to look any way you want sir. I explained myself in the post that you decided to leave out, which is fine.

You still didn't explain to me the point of your comment, sir.

therealdeal what do you really expect out of a QB you pick in the 7th round tell us all about that

I know you hang on every word of mine, which I'm used to by now, and I will answer after you answer mine.

I know how this routine goes. You keep firing questions and firing questions just like KT does but never answer one asked of you.

It's really kind of pathetic. I didn't know you'd get so butt hurt over my Fiz comment but I can tell it seriously hurt your E-Ego, and for that I apologize.

you explicitly labeled him a bust and then backtracked. My point, which i guess I'll explain since you lack reading comprehension, is that KC got their late round investment back, especially when you consider many 7th round QBs if you actually do serious research don't even get to play with the team that originally drafted them, or don't even get to play once in their career.

So what did that have to do with my 100% bust rate for QBs in the 07 draft?

Reaching for any reason to respond to my post?

Figured

I'm no longer going to try and debate you but rather take you in and embrace your enthusiasm for following me

if by "hurt my e-ego" you mean "RB thought it would be funny to expose your unabashed redundant stupidity" then yes that's exactly what happened
