There, I just aced your quiz.

How can I say that? Because ANYONE who is really going to look at these subjective descriptions, that IS NOT racist, isn't going to assume ANY sort of race to describe any of these people.

Why? Because the success or failure of a pro athlete is not attributable to that person's race. It's a culmination of environmental upbringing, intelligence levels, cultural expectations, situation, physical talent and support from family and coaches.

This is seriously the most unscientific, pointless "quiz" ever, and really speaks to a fundamental flaw in your thought process on race.

WOW. WOW. WOW.

SPOT ON.

Thank you.

This one is for you, lol:

Im not going to talk about your father seriously. I take that back. But you sound like you don't believe there are some out there that don't like Cam because he's black. You're supposed to have inside information on this type of stuff. How you cant see it is beyond me. Maybe you're just so cool with everybody they don't want you to know.

My personal opinion is that there is racism that goes on but not collectively and not out in the open in the media, but it also goes both ways.

I also feel that anyone who brings up race whenever something doesn't go favorably for them is weak minded and is just looking for excuses.

My family comes from nothing and I never had any advantage given to me as a youth. I got jumped every single day of my life growing up because I was the only white kid in the area. There wasn't a single day of my life for a large time frame when I wasn't getting beaten on by the same two black kids and the same albino mexican, and most days a few more joined in for fun. I broke over 30 bones before I was 13 and had my jaw wired shut twice.

From that point you can choose two paths. The easy way or the hard way. I could claim racism and that life would never get better and bitch and moan or you can do things to change your situation. It's whether you want to view yourself as a victim or just realize certain people from all races are sh!tty fuking people and move on. Why let it consume you? Why give them the satisfaction? I could have made the choice then and there to hate all black people and all albino Mexicans but why? Did I get to claim racism when I was denied a college scholarship, mostly because I'm white, but was offered an academic grant instead because I had a 4.5 GPA?

If you are being really honest with yourself about this, Cam has done things in the past that cause concern. The laptop thing. Yes charges were dropped but it doesn't mean the act wasn't committed and that he could possibly have character issues (A Talib?). The repeated cheating. The running away and not facing consequences. The repeated traffic violations. The pay for play, and more importantly whether he lied about it. The disobeying coaches. The media only workout.

I guarantee you 100% that if none of those things happened and Cam just went to class, played football, and entered the draft, not one person would have called him a thug or questioned his character. His previous actions have brought those criticisms onto himself and although some are extreme, most can be justified.

If he didn't have his past, he would be criticized like all run option QBs are. Can they make the transition, can they make the needed reads, can they make the tough throws, do they have the footwork, etc

So you only got beat up because you were white, huh? Sounds like someone is playing the race card.

Those aren't real guesses.

Good thing, because if they were real guesses, they would have been bad ones.

Eight wrong (tied for the worst so far).

Even after that sad story. He still managed to say some dumb things and make me shake my head:frown2:

It's not a sad story at all. It helped mold the man I am today and I couldn't be happier.

That's the difference between me and you. You see that as a story that ended and I see it as a chapter that helped write the novel.

    • Yeah and I am doubtful he can offer that consistently. I don’t have many years left at my age and in my view we have wasted two and this whole exercise with him was always a three year minimum.  I am out on that with a guy I don’t believe in, and never believed in, it has sucked. To me it is a costly detour off the right track. Years.    But I am not so rigid that I can’t see excellence. He needs to display it though, consistently before I change my outlook.
    • No, when I said rage, I meant rage, which only applies to certain fans on this board. Your timeline of trying to assess whether he is the future or not is really tied to the discussions surrounding his second contract. If this team is going to commit to some monster contract while he has shown nothing but glimpses of brilliance would be deservedly worrisome, so the clock is genuinely ticking for him to settle into something resembling his final form. Perhaps a best case scenario is that he plays well, the team succeeds, but he does so with a more limited role that makes the rest of the league view him as a game manager, and his second contract value reflects that. Then he continues to improve and becomes a bargain comparatively while not handicapping the team around him, and we enter an era of consistent championship competitiveness that the fanbase has craved for decades and has never really experienced before. But that requires many, many things to go right and for Bryce himself to facilitate that if he ends up being the quarterback of the future.
    • Exactly. And the flame throwers as well, get location benefits from not going all out. But they have it in reserve.  Not sure how much Greg had but he was an artist.  There was a YouTube I came across last year or maybe even 2023 and I don’t how to even find now but it had two NFL QBs I want say one was Carr from the Raiders but I don’t really remember  The point of it is they stood side by side throwing identical distances to identical targets. Radar gun was used.  They threw the normal effort (not all out) and it was measured etc. Then they were asked to throw their ‘fastball’. They were missing and most often they were missing high. It demonstrated the same principle.    edit: and applying that to arm strength, give me the guy that doesn’t need max effort to have good velocity. The margins are so narrow with less velocity in tne NFL the defenders can Close on it and this is a league where they value down to the 100th of a second level. It is that tight
