Their reason? They demand that the NFLPA recertify as a union before they'll engage in any discussion.

Funny thing though. Didn't the NFL recently say they were willing to negotiate anytime the players wanted?

It would be foolish for the owners to agree to bargain with anything but a union. They could make concessions with one group of players and still find themselves in court with others.

The NFL did say they would resume talks with the NFLPA anytime.
