NBA Playoffs Rd 1: Chicago Bulls vs. Indiana Pacers

Rose is a beast at driving to the basket and today he showed just why he was the MVP. There were times where you'd think there wasn't enough space but he'd be able to split players. His weakness of his overall game is his outside shooting, and that was evidenced today. But really he has improved vastly from his previous years. Rose's on-ball defense is also not the greatest as we saw Collison and even AJ Price get there looks.

I think that this loss for the Pacers might do some damage to their psyche. Tough game to lose. Every time the Bulls made a run they always seems to have an answer until the end.

Indiana played damn good, especially Psycho T, but Rose went into beast mode and Chicago started hitting all of their perimet shoots.... That's what makes chicago good... Rose ability to get to the whole with chicago's ability to knock down three's in clutch situations.

LOVE THE NBA PLayoffs this year!!!

But Indiana is showing how to play on the big stage when you get a chance.

Well that proves why the Bulls won't win it all. Not gonna be able to make that comeback against teams like Boston/Miami/LA/Dallas/SA/OKC/Denver...I think you get the picture.

Granger is right, they go as Rose goes. All you gotta do is stop him, which is proving impossible.

And that would be why they can win it all.

Some teams stars showed up, others did not.

    • Top 2026 Roster Needs & Priorities: EDGE/Outside Linebacker (OLB): Improving the pass rush is the top priority, as the team ranked in the bottom tier for sacks, with D.J. Wonnum heading to free agency. Inside Linebacker:  With Wallace disappointing and Rozeboom possibly on the way out, the Panthers ILBs have been rated in the low 50s on PFF.  They need a quality man in the middle.  Defensive Line (Interior): Support for Derrick Brown is needed to improve interior pass rush, with needs for more consistent production beyond A'Shawn Robinson and a recovering Nick Wharton. Offensive Line (LT/C): The team needs a potential starter at left tackle and a long-term solution at center, with Cade Mays and others facing free agency. Wide Receiver: Adding explosive weapons to complement the passing game is a priority. Safety: Upgrading the secondary with better coverage skills to support Tre'von Moehrig and Lathan Ransom.  Considering that you can afford one to three free agents, and considering that you can reasonably expect 2-3 draft picks to contribute immediately, how would you attack the roster needs?  (Lets see how this goes--)
    • Correct but it also won't include special teams
    • From Hurney 2.0 through Morgan has been an OL drafting fiasco. Morgan’s first draft alone saw us take Legette/Brooks instead with Zack Frazier just waiting but he kind of learned under Fitterer when we took TMJ over Humphrey and later in that draft took a long snapper over Trey Smith. For good knows why, we’ve been taking risky bad value day 2 picks when IOL and LB picks on day 2 are great value picks because the top prospects at those positions don’t usually go day 1.
