Absurd fine but the owner of the NBA is an absurd person with how he injects certain things into the NBA (Latin appreciation month, MLK celebration games, what's next gay pride month?)

Regardless of that Kobe is just being vulgar and this is common in sports. the word fine young male is not exclusively related to homosexuals like the n word is to blacks. The word is used in various other ways.

If the ref was actually gay this might be worth talking about.

Had it not been on camera, the punishment would’ve been less severe if any at all. The thing is the national tv camera had him saying it very clear… therefore they had to punish him. But yea… that $100,000 ain’t poo for Kobe.

To put it in perspective… Kobe makes 25 mil in regular season salary alone, that does not include endorsements, playoff pay ect. A regular Loe like myself makes … $50,000. So his fine would be equivalent to a $200 fine for myself. In actuality if you include all his earnings for the year it would probably be more like $50 or something.
