pstall is right about the balance though. One of the classes I take it like a toning and balance class, a lot of squats with weights and doing the step up thingy with the weights. Helps to improve your balance and strengthen the muscles in your legs and back. 15 minutes of abs and then 45 minutes of balance and toning.

Its mostly women but I think you would fit right in.

Need to lose wight and have little money for workout equiptment/ Go to the hardware or big box store, buy a length or rope long enough to use as a jump rope - you can buy it by the foot most places. You dont need fancy handles, or a leather rope or any of that stuff.

Start using it everyday. jumping rope is some of the best exercise Ive ever found for a cardio workout, and it does your legs a lot of good as well..
