I only received the generic one that I posted before.

Tarheelblue89...did you get one specifically saying Your(not everyones) information was stolen?

Although we are still investigating the details of this incident,

we believe that an unauthorized person has obtained the following

information that you provided: name, address (city, state, zip), country....etc

It was written in a way that you could tell this same email was sent to everyone that got hacked.

lulz, not saying it's related, but I got a call from Chase credit today at work. Guy on the phone said that they saw a couple of recent charges on my account that seemed abnormal. I haven't used the credit card in question since last November, then there were back to back charges on April 29th and 30th.

Charge number 1 was for some company called M-Brothers construction in Palmona Park, MD for a total of $20.01. Hell I did all kinds of Googling for this company and even the place "Palmona park" and couldn't find anything substantial.

Charge number 2 was from another company called ELCOM supposedly out of East Orange, NJ for a total charge of $6.15. I did find some info on this company, but is definitely nothing that I would have purchased myself.

Glad these charges didn't add up to much, not to mention it doesn't really seem that abnormal to me, but I'm glad they caught it.

Well it has gotten worse for sony now.. SOE which does PC online gaming also has been hacked and infomation stolen yet again.. I really am going to switch from PS3 to Xbox because this stuff is way to unforgivable because sony did not secure SOE better after what happened with PSN.

    • Yeah well I was agaisnt Hurney coming back and then helping hire Rhule but it happened anyways. Tepper has made it so bad and it's still ongoing currently.
    • Yeah, that "Me against the world" mentality can work....when you are right and know what you are doing. But if you don't know what you are doing and can't accept that you need to learn, that is an impossible hill to climb.
    • I can’t argue too hard with established track records. Just hope because it has happened before.   I think it takes massive and embarrassing failure. It isn’t hard to conceptualize the general truism that success in one field does not guarantee success in another. I have had to experience that in my the hard way before, dealing with a self made millionaire friend.  Getting them to understand that is very difficult. I had to part ways to escape it 30 years later, he still hasn’t learned. But he isn’t my problem anymore….  Tepper cannot be excised so easily.
