Pepper haters, step up!!!

I know there is already a thread about what if Peppers plays for us, will fans still wear his jersey.

That is weak sauce though.

If Peppers does end up being a Panther this year, what are all you bitter folks going to do? Still be uptight bitter folks? Just curious. Lots of things can change within a year.

Pepper's hater here...

my pepper's hate is a good 3-4 years old. Some of it stems from his college school of choice...:P, but the majority comes from me watching game tape of him and seeing him play half the time. This is just icing on the cake for me.

I don't have a problem with anyone still wanting to pull for him though, thats their personal choice, but as for myself....I will indeed boo him until my throat bleeds.

If that makes me a bad or lesser fan, than so be it. But when a player quits on my team, I quit on them.

I have been one of the biggest criticizers of Pep for a LONG time. I used to get killed on this board for speaking out against paying 12 million a year (or whatever) for a guy who takes plays off and sometimes disappears. For what he has cost us he has failed to live up to those expectations. When you pay one player that much, the idea is for them to help you win a Super Bowl.

Peppers showed back up this season, but now the motive is clear. He never intended to return to Carolina so all he was doing was building value in the market.

Peppers doesn't owe Carolina anything, neither does Carolina owe him. Right now he is a Panther, so he needs to intend on Playing as one.

However the case has been set, he is clear that he doesn't want to play for us. So whats next? He sits out?

Peppers has CLEARLY made his own bed. For any one man to be so embraced by a owner, team, and fan base you would think he would be nothing but happy.

This is not the case however. He has turned his back on this organization, fans, and the man who wanted to build a franchise around him.

All "to reach his own potential" in a team sport.

Once again he is taking plays off in Carolina, and he hasn't even stepped on the field.

Good riddance. Get everything we can for him, and get some guys who want to carry this team to a championship. And for a lot less than 15 MILLION a year.

how the hell do you lose respect for a player who handled the situation in the most classy and professional way possible........some of you need to re-think before posting dumbshhhhhh

You mean the "situation" He CREATED?

If this was about football then this "situation" wouldn't even be here. This has nothing to do with "football", this is all about Peppers true colors showing.

Its clear that in his mind he has been "on the way out" for a while. Now he has a chance to buy his ticket.

There is nothing "classy" about turning your back on the franchise who gave you the world, only to watch you spit in their face to "reach your potential".

His "class" is half empty.....

As long as he plays for the Panthers and plays his best, I will respect him. Hell I'll always respect him even if he does move on.

If he would have ALWAYS played his best, this wouldnt even be an issue.

But in his own words, he needs to move on to "reach his full potential".....

:incazzato:

Bullshit.....

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
