rivera said he knew he wanted cam within last 10 days up to draft and talking with him about all they could. just had it click and felt very comfortable with the decision. rivera met with him 5 times himself, and all the other coaches several times as well. convinced he can make the transition because he beleives he can lead the offense and team with his leadership and talent that should have no issue transferring to the nfl, and that auburns offense is not as simple as everyone says, and he made a lot of complex decisions playing in that offense. he said he was pleased to have the opportunity before the lockout to talk with him and tell him theyre expectations and what he felt comfortable doing. hes trying to get cam to fit in the offense, and the offense to fit around cam at the same time.

still going but i gotta run

theyre going to make the choice thats best for the panthers with steve in mind and go from there. nfln crew says to put stuff in the playbook that can start cam early and get acclimated to the stuff that hes good at right now, that cam can do to defenses what michael vick does, making back sides keep contain and sit back, where as with jimmy, defenses can come at us 100 mph and not have to worry about breaking contain and scrambling.

He also said they're not only going to try to fit Cam to the offense, but the offense to Cam to utilize some of his special abilities.

As long as we run that play where Cam jumps over everyone into the endzone I'll be happy.

Damn. I will be in Dallas with no access to NFLN. But I will be at the Rangers vs. A's game, so it's all good. Going tonight and tomorrow night.

CJ Wilson vs. Trevor Cahill tonight. One hell of a pitching matchup.

I'll be wearing the Panthers hat and will take a poop on the new football stadium. I might even smear Panthers Rule! in poop on the stadium wall.

I am a diehard A's fan and will be watching the game tonight. Considering it starts in 15 minutes you probably won't have time to respond to this, but tell me where you're sitting and I'll definitely look for you. Your a big fella so i'm sure I can't miss you. Expect a 1-0 game whenever Cahill is on the bump.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
