Mcnabb Stuff

McNabb's been in the news recently for two stories.

First, some Washington radio sports hosts are convinced that he refused to wear a wristband because he thought it made him look stupid. A bunch of you likely saw this story on PFT.

I remember not long ago posters here were talking about the racism McNabb has faced in the past... and hell, he's gotten his share of lumps for one reason or another. But that story took a ridiculous turn recently, when a boxer Bernard Hopkins said that McNabb "had a suntan".

Hopkins also invoked race, pointing to his own dark skin and telling reporters: "Forget this. (McNabb's) got a suntan. That's all."

apparently he's not black enough because he isn't tough enough.

I've heard people say McNabb was soft before.

“Why do you think McNabb felt he was betrayed?” Hopkins continued, according to the website. “Because McNabb is the guy in the house, while everybody else is on the field. He’s the one who got the extra coat. The extra servings. ‘You’re our boy.’ He thought he was one of them.”

it's pretty sad. just goes to show that no one group of people has the corner on hatred.

WTF is he talking about? Has Bernard ever played the game of NFL football? if he hasn't then he needs to shut the hell up. Was he talking about when Mcnabb was benched or does he think he's supposed to play on offense and defense?

    • As a Panthers fan I know what incompetence and doubling down on mistakes looks like. The Bills are fools for not just going ahead and cleaning house. Already seen that scenario play out with Fitterer. And it will end the same way for them.
    • Ive watched every snap he has played and the dude has a howitzer  CJ Bailey is noted for having impressive, "elite" arm strength with the ability to "push the ball downfield with ease," consistently completing deep shots with high yards-per-attempt, and threading tight windows with velocity, making him a modern NFL-caliber quarterback prospect with no significant arm strength concerns, per 247Sports, The Duke Chronicle, and Trinity Road Times. He's described as a "twitchy thrower" with long limbs, capable of making difficult throws under pressure and creating plays off-schedule, demonstrating both power and placement.    Key Aspects of CJ Bailey's Arm Strength:   Deep Ball Prowess: He ranks highly among Power Four quarterbacks for deep shot attempts, averaging significant yards per attempt, showing he can easily get the ball downfield. Velocity & Zip: He delivers throws with "requisite zip," layering the ball over defenders and hitting receivers in stride, notes Write For California. Tight Windows: Bailey successfully challenges tight windows and places the ball well, even when layering it over multiple defenders, say Write For California and 247Sports. Off-Schedule Plays: He can make throws with power and accuracy even when scrambling and creating his own space, showing advanced arm talent, notes 247Sports.    In short, Bailey possesses the arm talent expected of a high-level modern quarterback, able to generate both power and touch to make all throws, say 247Sports, The Duke Chronicle, and Trinity Road Times.
    • He has gunslinger tendencies but I am telling you, I don't see a high caliber NFL arm. It's very, very average or below.
